Nashua Man Charged With Domestic Assault, Threatening With Knife

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man has been charged with six counts of domestic violence and Class B felony threatening with a deadly weapon after Nashua police said they determined through an investigation that he threatened a women with a knife and physically assaulted her. Espinal De Leon is also charged with simple assault against the female known to him.

Nashua police investigated the domestic incident on Saturday and said they learned of the assault and threat. De Leon was charged with one count of domestic violence criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, six counts of domestic violence and Class A misdemeanor simple assault. He was arrested on Monday at about 3:30 p.m.

A Class B felony is punishable up to 7 ½ years in state prison. A Class A misdemeanor is punishable up to one year in the County House of Corrections.

De Leon was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South.
