Nashua Man Pleads Guilty In Federal Court To Selling Fentanyl
Brian Boucher, 41, pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl to someone cooperating with Nashua police four times in February and March.

CONCORD, NH — A Nashua man has pleaded guilty in federal court to selling fentanyl in Nashua. Brian Boucher, 41, sold fentanyl to someone who was cooperating with Nashua police detectives in February and March.
According to court documents and statement made in federal court, Boucher sold fentanyl on four separate occasions in February and March. He was arrested on March 8.
Boucher was also arrested and charged with selling heroin in July as part of a Drug Enforcement Agency sweep in Nashua.

"The distribution of fentanyl continues to be a menace to the citizens of New Hampshire," said U.S. Attorney Scott Murray. "In order to address this threat, we are working closely with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who are distributing this deadly drug in the Granite State."
The Nashua Police Department investigated the case, which was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joachim Barth.

This case is part of Operation Synthetic Opioid Surge (S.O.S.). The goal of S.O.S. is to combat the large number of overdoses and deaths associated with fentanyl and other synthetic opioids. In New Hampshire, the U.S. Attorney's Office is focusing its efforts on prosecuting synthetic opioid trafficking cases arising in Hillsborough County, which includes Manchester and Nashua.
