Nashua Man Shot By Police During Overnight Standoff
Attorney General's Office said the suspect is in custody and being treated for injuries after barricading himself in his Hunt Street home.

NASHUA, NH — A suspect who barricaded himself in his home on Hunt Street in Nashua and was shot by police during an overnight standoff was taken into custody early Friday morning. The Attorney General's office said the suspect sustained injuries and is receiving medical treatment on Friday.
Nashua Police responded to Hunt Street about 10:30 Thursday night on a criminal threatening complaint. The AG Office said that following the initial response, the suspect barricaded himself in his home and was shot in an officer-involved shooting.
Nashua Police said Friday morning that there was no danger to the public after the suspect was taken into custody in the early morning hours. The AG Office reported no one else was injured in the standoff and that there is no longer a threat to the public.

New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit is investigating the incident. The names of the officer and the suspect are being withheld pending the investigation.
