Nashua Pawn Shop Worker Charged with Selling Stolen Items to Other Pawn Shops
Sarah Cox, 26, of Nashua, allegedly sold more than $1,500 worth of goods.

The following is from Nashua police:
On January 30, 2015 members of the Nashua Police Department Uniformed Field Operations Bureau arrested Sarah Cox, age 26, of 6 Margaret Circle Nashua, New Hampshire for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class A Felony as well as Theft by Deception, Class A Felony and Theft by Deception, Class A Misdemeanor. Cox responded to the Nashua Police Department to turn herself in on an outstanding arrest warrant at approximately 9:00 AM.

On October 8, 2014 Nashua Officers responded to Tradeland, 293 Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua, for a reported theft. It was learned that the business had been missing several pieces of jewelry. The investigation revealed that Sarah Cox, an employee of Tradeland, had been stealing jewelry and pawning it at other area pawn stores. The total value of the missing property from Tradeland exceeded $1500, classifying the offense as a Class A Felony.
In addition to the theft from Tradeland, Cox was also charged with Theft by Deception, Class A Felony for purporting that the jewelry she was pawning was her property. As a result, Victoria Goldia, 295 Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua, had a loss of over $1500 and Family Pawn, 433 Amherst Street, Nashua, had a loss of under $1000. An arrest warrant was obtained for Cox based on the above investigation.

Each Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines and a Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, exclusive of fines. Cox was released on $5,000 cash or surety bail pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on March 6, 2015.
