"Of course that's me," Fabio Fontes Rosa was accused of saying after a burglary on Broad Street, and chase and crash in Townsend, cops say.

NASHUA, NH — An investigation into a smashed drive-thru window at a Dunkin’ on Broad Street in Nashua leads to charges against a Boston man about two months later.
Fabio Fontes Rosa, 24, of Hancock Street in Boston, Massachusetts, was arrested on Feb. 3 on a felony burglary charge and two criminal mischief charges.
Around 1 a.m. on Nov. 26, 2025, an officer was sent to an alarm activation at the Dunkin’ at 38 Broad St. When the officer arrived, they found a drive-thru window and front door of the restaurant had been smashed. No suspects were at the scene, the officer noted.

One man exited the SUV, threw an object at the front door, and smashed it, a report said. The man then entered the Dunkin’ and was seen leaving. The man is then seen smashing the drive-thru window and grabbing a Verifone card reader, the officer wrote. The man then reentered the SUV and fled the scene.
The man was described as Hispanic, wearing glasses and a Puma sweatshirt.

Around 1:20 a.m., a detective in Providence, Rhode Island, spoke with a Nashua officer and said they were investigating a commercial burglary in their city, and the phone they were tracking was pinged at 38 Broad St. for “a substantial amount of time” earlier in the evening, the report said. The detective claimed the suspect was involved in a high-speed chase in Townsend, MA, which resulted in a crash. Rosa was then arrested by Townsend police, they said.
Around 3:30 a.m., a Nashua detective spoke with a Townsend officer who said Rosa was being released from a hospital and would then be booked. The officer told the detective Rosa had “agreed to speak” to the detective, the report said.
Around 5:30 a.m., two Nashua detectives met with Rosa, who was Mirandized and admitted to the burglarizing and damaging the Dunkin’ and stealing the card reader, an affidavit said.
“Fabio stated that he was hungry and wanted food,” the affidavit said.
When shown pictures of the suspect in the Puma sweatshirt, Rosa was accused of admitting, “Of course that’s me.” His clothes were then confiscated as evidence, the report stated.
On Jan. 9, a warrant for Rosa’s arrest was issued.
On Feb. 3, police dispatch was told Rosa appeared in Quincy MA District Court on a fugitive from justice charge. He waived extradition back to New Hampshire and a Nashua officer picked him up in Quincy, MA, the report stated.
Rosa was arraigned via video on Feb. 4 in Nashua District Court and held on $1,000 cash bail.
