Nashua Police: Mass. Man Arrested In Child Sex Sting

Nashua police said Jean Yazbek, of Norwood, Massachusetts, arranged to have sex with a child in Nashua.

NASHUA, NH -- A Massachusetts man was arrested Monday after police said he arranged to have sex with a child in Nashua. Jean Yazbek, 63, of Norwood, was charged with felony illegal computer use. He was released on $500 bond pending an arraignment.

"On October 2 ... members of the Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation into a male who was communicating with a person he believed to be a child regarding sexual contact between them using an online social media website," Nashua Police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in a statement. "During the course of this investigation Jean Yazbek was developed as a suspect ... on October 8 ... Yazbek was arrested after traveling to Nashua to meet the person he believed to be a child."

Yazbek will be arraigned October 18 in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
