NASHUA, NH — Thursday is Random Acts of Kindness Day or RAK Day.

In celebration of the day, Patch asked our Nashua readers on Facebook: “What's the nicest thing a neighbor has done for you?” We received almost 5K comments across all of our sites and some of the answers were really heartwarming.

One reader said their neighbor let them use their pool. Others were rescued during house fires. Wiping snow off of vehicles, sharing milk, and taking care of pets were also tasks neighbors helped other neighbors with.
