Nashua Thief Arrested On A New Theft Charge

NASHUA, NH — A thief from Nashua is due in court in early January after being accused of theft again.

On Oct. 23, police were sent to Target at 310 Daniel Webster Highway to investigate an accusation about a man stealing merchandise, Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, said. Adam Masseur, 35, of Nashua, was identified “as the suspect in the theft, and it was learned he had multiple theft-related convictions,” he said.

“Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were notified and furthered the investigation,” Cinelli said.

Masseur was arrested on Nov. 27 on a felony theft by unauthorized taking-two prior convictions charge.

According to superior court records, in December 2008, when he was in his late teens, Masseur was involved in an identity fraud case in Nashua. About 18 months later, he was formally charged.

As part of a plea deal in February 2011, the charge against Masseur was lowered to misdemeanor theft. He received a one-year suspended sentence and served a single day in jail.

Back in April, he was arrested on stalking-domestic violence and breach of bail charges in Nashua.

In Merrimack back in August, Masseur was accused of a subsequent drug possession charge. The case was boundover to superior court on Oct. 24.

Also in Merrimack, Masseur was accused of subsequent drug possession, transport drugs in a motor vehicle, driving after revocation or suspension, and other violations in early October. The case was filed on Nov. 14 in superior court and boundover on Nov. 18.
