Nashua Woman Slashed Man With Knife: Police

A Nashua woman was charged with domestic violence after slashing a man with a knife, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested early Sunday after police said she slashed a man with a knife in a domestic disturbance.

Ivelisse Rivera, 29, of Ingalls Street, was charged with assault, domestic violence, and reckless conduct.

"The victim reported Rivera pushed him and cut him with a kitchen knife during an argument," Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said in a statement.

The man was cut on the arm; he refused medical treatment, police said.

"The victim received a minor laceration to his arm from the assault. The victim refused medical treatment for his injury."

Rivera's bail was set at $5,000 pending an arraignment Monday.
