CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a New Hampshire fugitive wanted on rape and other charges after an incident in Litchfield in April.
Devin Leonard, 23, of Buffalo, New York, was arrested after task force members from New Hampshire were asked to assist Litchfield police with a fugitive case. Police accused Leonard of sexual assault, false imprisonment, second-degree assault-strangulation, and simple assault after an incident on or about April 2.
"Shortly after the offenses were committed, Leonard fled the state of New Hampshire and returned to his home (in) New York," said Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.
