Pre-K Graduation Ceremony Celebrates Students Entering Kindergarten

NASHUA, N.H. - On June 6, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCN) celebrated its Early Learning Center graduates in a Pre-K Graduation ceremony. The event was filled with excitement as the 4-and-5-year-olds, entering kindergarten in the fall, dressed in cap and gown to receive diplomas and reflect on their new friendships, skills and memories from the Club’s Pre-K program.

BGCN’s Early Learning Center provides full and part-time licensed child care to children ages 6 weeks through 3rd grade. This ceremony not only celebrated the accomplishments of each child, but also emphasized the importance of early childhood education and BGCN’s dedicated teachers and staff who have helped shape these young minds.

“We are incredibly proud of our youngest members who have completed their pre-k education with us,” says Craig Fitzgerald, Executive Director of BGCN. “It was such a joy to see them achieve this milestone and we know they are well-prepared for kindergarten. This wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible staff and the community’s support."

The recently announced Power of YOUth campaign will allow the Club to expand its child care capacity to serve to serve as many as 175 children daily in the Early Learning Center. Funds raised will go toward building a secondary entrance for child care families, establishing aged-based classrooms for children ages 6-weeks through kindergarten, creating a dedicated learning space for children, and more.
