Quality Plants at Great Prices: Nashua Garden Club Plant Sale, May 20
The Nashua Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale Saturday, May 20th from 8 am to noon on the grounds of the Nashua Historical Society

Spring is here and it will soon be time for the Nashua NH Garden Club’s annual plant sale. Plan to attend this event the morning of Saturday, May 20th to collect fresh ideas and get plants to jump start your gardening activities. The sale, to be held on the grounds of the Nashua Historical Society, 5 Abbott Street Nashua NH, will begin promptly at 8 AM and run through Noon. It will be held rain, or shine. Please note that only cash and checks will be accepted.
Mark your calendar as fellow gardeners traditionally arrive early for the best selection of annuals, perennials, houseplants, vegetable plants and herbs. Many of the items have been attentively raised and nurtured by members of the Garden Club, including several Master Gardeners. These experienced, knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to help you pick the best plants for your spaces.
The fun doesn’t stop with plants! Attendees are also invited to participate in the very popular ‘gift basket raffle’ where they may try their luck at winning one of a wide variety of creative, themed gift baskets. Bargain hunters too will want to visit the garden-themed ‘yard sale’ to find a selection of pots, lawn ornaments and other gardening tools.
All proceeds go toward the club’s community educational and beautification projects held throughout the year. Included are maintenance of Greeley Park’s Sensory Garden and the garden at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. The club also sponsors several expert speakers to which members of the Nashua community are invited to attend, free of charge.
Please plan to spend an enjoyable morning supporting this civic minded organization and treat yourself at the same time. For more information, visit www.nashuanhgardenclub.org . Questions?
