Recent NH Inmate Walkaways Apprehended
NH DOC: One was caught crossing the border into Canada; the other was arrested this morning while preparing to turn himself in.

Two missing transitional housing unit inmates that walked away last week have been apprehended and are in custody, according to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.
Bruno Martin, pictured left, a convicted burglar that allegedly did not return to transitional housing on July 23, was caught on July 26, by border patrol in Canada.
“(Martin was caught) after he crossed the border between the Lacolle and Champlain entry points in Canada,” said Jeffrey Lyons, the public information officer for the NH DOC. “The Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are looking at extradition options.”
