RISE Spring Jazz Concert Fundraiser
Mark your 'get out and dance' calendar for April 1 – no foolin'.
The Rivier Institute for Senior Education (RISE) is presenting a fund raising Spring Concert, Jazz @RISE, to benefit the RISE program. The concert will feature the Nashua High School South Jazz Band and the Nashua High School South Honors Jazz Band.
The concert will be held on Sunday, April 1, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. atDion Center Reception Room, located on Clements Street in Nashua.
The Nashua High School South Jazz Band and the Honors Jazz Band are both 19-piece big bands composed of auditioned high school musicians. Both groups perform a variety of popular, blues, big band swing, funk, rock and contemporary jazz standards.

The bands have received multiple awards over the years including superior ratings and Top 10 finishes at music festivals from Toronto, Annapolis, New York, and Florida as well as civic venues, benefits, school events and jazz nights at Nashua High School South. They are under the direction of Anthony Courounis Jr., director of Bands at Nashua High School South.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students with a valid student ID. They are available at the RISE office on Clements Street, Nashua and at , 75 Main Street, Nashua. Make checks payable to Rivier College. No ticket sales at the door. Please call RISE at 897-8623 for further information.
