Scattered Power Outages in Nashua: Update

NASHUA, NH — Hundreds lost power in the Nashua region Tuesday as strong winds battered the area. These were the number of outages by community as of 4 p.m., according to Eversource:

• Nashua, 37
• Hollis, 97

Outages were reported across the southern part of the state at about 2 p.m. In Weare, about 2,400 lost power. In Salem, a tree fell on a car. Statewide, about 3,600 customers lost power early Tuesday afternoon. By 4 p.m., about about 300 outages remaining.

Nashua's latest forecast calls for winds to die down Wednesday night as temperatures soar back up to over 90 degrees Thursday. Rain is also possible Thursday.
