Travis Martein, 28, of Nashua, was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and falsifying evidence.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting and stabbing at a house party this summer. Travis Martein, 28, on Paxton Terrace, was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and falsifying evidence.

The party was July 9 at Martin's residence, according to police. At one point, an argument erupted and Martein grabbed a shotgun, pointed it several people and yelled at them to leave, police said. Someone then shot Martein in the leg, police said. Martein struggled with man over the shotgun and eventually stabbed him in the neck, police said. Martein then tried to drive himself to the hospital and tossed the knife, according to police.

Police said they recently gathered enough evidence to obtain a warrant for Martien's arrest.
