St. Joseph Hospital 1 of just 4 NH Hospitals to Get 'A' Safety Grade
St. Joseph Hospital is among just 29% of hospitals nationwide to achieve a Spring "A" making them one of the safest hospitals in the country

Nashua, NH – St. Joseph Hospital is proud to announce that it has once again earned an "A" safety grade from the Leapfrog Group for the Spring 2023 period. This marks the hospital's 2nd consecutive "A" grade from the independent healthcare watchdog organization, which evaluates hospitals across the United States based on their patient safety record. In fact, St. Joseph Hospital is among just 29% of hospitals nationwide to achieve a Spring 2023 "A" and is 1 of only 4 hospitals in all of New Hampshire – making them one of the safest hospitals in the country.
The Leapfrog Group assesses hospitals on a range of factors, including infection rates, medication safety, and patient outcomes. The "A" grade signifies that St. Joseph Hospital has demonstrated a commitment to providing safe, high-quality care to its patients.
"We are honored to receive this recognition from the Leapfrog Group," said John Jurczyk, President of St. Joseph Hospital. "The safety and well-being of our patients is our top priority, and we are constantly striving to improve our processes and procedures to provide the best possible care."
