“It’s not just about handing someone a device,” Sara Ceaser of United Way of Greater Nashua said. “It’s about sitting beside them and helping them feel confident using it. That’s when real change happens.”

In addition to device distribution, the program offers free digital literacy workshops and one-on-one tech support sessions. Volunteers and trained Digital Navigators assist community members in developing essential digital skills. Workshops cover topics including email management, scam avoidance, safe internet use, and completing online applications.

Personalized assistance is available for those requiring more detailed help. These sessions are held at the United Way office and partner community locations throughout Greater Nashua.

The United Way is currently accepting unlocked smartphones in good working condition, preferably with a charger. These phones should be able to power on, hold a charge, and be free of activation lock. Working laptops, less than 8 to 10 years old, that power on and include a charger are also needed.

Devices can be dropped off at the United Way of Greater Nashua, located at 20 Broad Street, during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
