New carpet is in and everything's getting back to normal, just in time for this week's Kids Night.

Check it in: If you have a copy of "Song Yet Sung," the Nashua Reads book, checked out and you've finished it, could you please return it -- even if it's not due yet? We have many people waiting for copies!

Virtual wealth of info: The library's fall calendar/newsletter is now available on the library's website. Follow this link to the printable PDF file with all the details about Nashua Reads, National Novel Writing Month, A Supernatural Afternoon, Zentangle Workshop, and more.

Teen stuff, and more: Read TeenStuff to find out about our anime club, Thursday Night Mad Science, Angry Birds craft, and more! Registration has begun.

Kid stuff, and more: Registration starts Sept. 11 for kids' crafts, Lego Legion, and costume party. Details in KidStuff.

*Annual Back to School Night, Aug. 25, 5 p.m. to 6:30 pm, Children's Room and Library Plaza:
Nashua students entering kindergarten to grade 12 can meet their principals and get a packet of free school supplies, enter free raffles, and enjoy food and entertainment. Children can receive free immunizations (bring immunization records). Park free at the Elm Street and High Street public garages from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and take a free trolley ride from there to the library. Hosted by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Nashua.

Saturday, September 3 - Monday, September 5: Library closed for Labor Day weekend.

Open Storytimes & Puppet Shows: CANCELED AUG.22-27

Babies & Books Storytimes: CANCELED AUG.22-27 
Language Conversation Groups: Members of these groups practice speaking with each other in the language. No registration necessary. Intermediate level.
Spanish: Tuesdays at 7 pm in the East Wing 
Italian: Wednesdays at 2 pm (Hunt Room or East Wing)
Lithuanian: Will begin meeting again in September.
