Woman Arrested On Protective Order Violation Charges In Merrimack

MERRIMACK, NH — A Gate City woman was arrested last week and arraigned this week on multiple violation of protective order charges, according to Merrimack police. In the middle of August, officers in Merrimack investigated a report that Ashley McLean, 28, of Robinson Road in Nashua, had possibly violated a protective order. During the investigation, according to Sgt. Brandon Gagnon of the Merrimack Police Department, McLean was accused of "sending messages to the protected party on four different occasions."

A warrant was issued and she was arrested on Aug. 30, and held without bail. She was arraigned in Merrimack District Court Tuesday.

According to Nashua police, McLean was previously arrested in April 2018, on a theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charge.
