Woman From Nashua Arrested On Knife Threat And Domestic Violence Assault Charges

NASHUA, NH — A woman from Nashua was arrested last month on domestic violence charges, according to police.

Louielyn Martos, 20, of Woodfield Street in Nashua, was arrested on Jan. 12 on felony criminal threatening with a deadly weapon-domestic violence and simple assault-domestic violence charges.

On Jan. 12, police responded to a report of a domestic dispute involving a man and a woman. When they arrived, they learned the woman was accused of threatening the man with a knife, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division Supervisor for the Nashua Police Department.

“Officers learned that during an argument, Martos had also struck her male partner,” he said. “Martos was taken into custody.”

According to a case summary from the Nashua District Court, Martos was accused of hitting the man in the lower back with a phone charger. She was also accused of attempting to place the man in “fear of imminent bodily injury by stabbing a door with a knife” while the man was “on the other side of the door.”

Martos was arrested, held without bail, and arraigned via video.
