Worcester Man Faces Felony Theft Charge In Nashua
Daijon Conyer is accused of shoplifting more than $1,500 worth of items and fleeing into a wooded area of the city Thursday night.

NASHUA, NH — A Massachusetts man was arrested and held on cash bail Thursday accused of shoplifting more than $1,500 worth of items from a store.
Around 7 p.m., officers were sent to a business to investigate a theft report with an employee accusing a man of "being responsible for shoplifting a quantity of items with a retail value in excess of $1,500," according to Sgt. Nikki Hannigan of the Nashua Police Department. The man fled the store but was found a few hours later, in a wooded area of the city.
The suspect was identified as Daijon Conyer, 21, a transient from the Worcester, Massachusetts, area. He was charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking and held on $100 cash bail.

Conyer is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. He faces 15 years in prison and fines.
According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Conyer was charged with using a motor vehicle without authority, larceny under $1,200, trespass, and possession of fentanyl in Worcester Central District Court in June 2019.
