YMCA of Greater Nashua Welcomes Two New Directors

The YMCA of Greater Nashua welcomes Christopher Ellison as new Director of Operations for Westwood Park YMCA and Elizabeth (Liz) Kaas as Director of Health & Wellness/Personal Training.

Chris will be overseeing all programming and day-to-day operations of Westwood Park YMCA, the Y’s newest facility, located in northwest Nashua. He will also be very involved with community outreach and developing strong relationships with Y members and user groups. He is a graduate of the Sports Management Master of Science program at Lasell College in Newton, Mass., and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. He formerly served as Director of Sports & Recreation at West Suburban YMCA in Newton, Mass.

Liz will focus on enhancing the member experience at the Y by introducing new programming to the organization. She also oversees all personal and small group training for the Y Association, which includes the Nashua YMCA, Merrimack YMCA and Westwood Park YMCA. She brings more than 15 years of project leadership and earned a Masters of Arts in Human Services Counseling – Health and Wellness from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/ Management from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. . Liz has been an indoor cycling instructor at the Y since 2019.
