• Fire destroys barn at Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm (ledgertranscript.com) — New Ipswich firefighters were among several area departments called overnight to help battle a major barn fire at the Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm in Peterborough. The blaze destroyed a farm equipment barn but caused no injuries, and crews worked for hours to keep flames from spreading and to cool hay bales while investigators look at possible causes. 
• Richard Joseph Perreault (ledgertranscript.com) — New Ipswich is mourning Richard “Dicky” Perreault, who grew up in town before settling in nearby Temple and recently passed away after long health challenges. Loved for his woodworking skill, generosity, and devotion to family, he’ll be honored at a Celebration of Life on August 15 at Temple Town Hall, where friends can share memories and condolences.
