• Harold Brooks Sr. (concordmonitor.com) — A funeral procession for longtime Newbury resident Harold “John” Brooks Sr. will begin at 9 a.m. on July 10 at Chadwick Funeral Home in New London, followed by services at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Brooks, an 86-year-old Army veteran, firearms instructor, and devoted family man, is remembered for his decades of service, love of the outdoors, and deep commitment to his loved ones.
