• Tilton eyes project to replace 1867 Center Street station (unionleader.com) — Northfield residents may soon vote on a major overhaul of the shared Tilton-Northfield fire facilities, including new living quarters at the Park Street substation. A proposal under study would close Tilton’s aging Center Street station, build a new Sanborn Road headquarters, and expand Park Street, with public hearings set for Sept. 29 and Oct. 7 before a March district vote.
