• Concord Man Indicted On Negligent Homicide, Manslaughter Charges: Merrimack County Superior Court Indictments (patch.com) — A Pittsfield resident is among several people recently indicted by a Merrimack County grand jury, and a 2025 death in Pittsfield has led to manslaughter and negligent homicide charges for a Concord man. The roundup also lists separate drug, stalking, theft, assault, and sexual assault indictments from around the region, all of which remain allegations at this stage.
   

• Fire at restaurant in Loudon (wmur.com) — Pittsfield firefighters were among several area departments called to help battle a three-alarm fire early Monday at Beanie’s Bar & Grill in nearby Loudon. Crews knocked down the kitchen-centered blaze in under an hour, but officials say roughly half the building was damaged and the state fire marshal will investigate the cause.
