Roy was initially charged with hindering apprehension by the NHSP. More charges, however, were initiated after she was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin and a Walther .38 handgun while being searched.

Levesque was initially charged with obstructing government administration after allegedly providing a false identity to the NHSP. After being properly identified, he was found to have an active warrant. He was allegedly in possession of $880 in cash so he was also charged with being a co-conspirator with Roy.
