2026 New Hampshire Federal, State, And County Candidates: Tell Patch Readers Why You Are Running
Candidates running for office in 2026 can submit information to Patch explaining why they deserve our readers' support.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — Are you running for state representative, state Senate, Executive Council, U.S. Congress, governor, or a county office in a competitive race in 2026?
If so, you know it’s general election season, and Patch has an easy way to help readers learn about your campaign. As in past years, Patch sites in New Hampshire are offering candidates free space to tell readers why they are running.
The process, however, will be a little different this year.

Instead of filling out a profile with canned questions, tell us in your own words why you are running. Share your professional background, political involvement, or family information, if you like. Pick a few issues that are important to you. You’re the candidate… You know the drill. And it is not like you have not been telling voters why you are running anyway.
Submit the text to me at tony.schinella@patch.com. Also include a photo in .jpg format with usage permission.

After that, I’ll publish the candidate profiles as I receive them on the sites connected to your races and get as many up as possible before Oct. 30. The profiles will also be featured and linked in our 2026 General Election voter guides, published before Nov. 3.
Please note: Text submissions must be original and cannot contain copyrighted material or third-party intellectual property. As a candidate submitting a photo to Patch, you must certify it is your own work. You must also authorize Patch to publish it across our platforms and affiliate sites.
