Alleged Heroin Dealer Caught
Portsmouth Police report that social media information led investigators to find Amanda Burgess in Maine.

A woman who is alleged to have been dealing heroin in the Portsmouth area has been caught, according to Portsmouth Police.
Capt. Mike Schwartz reported on June 24, 2015, that information generated on social media tracked down Burgess, 25, in Cherryfield, ME.

She was taken into custody by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and is being held at the Washington County Jail until she can be arraigned.
“The Portsmouth Police Department appreciates the information received through Seacoast Crime Stoppers, the Portsmouth Police Department’s Facebook page and from the residents of Gosling Meadows,” Schwartz said.
