Amherst Woman Arrested in Portsmouth

Tamara M. Smith, 26, of Eastern Avenue in Amherst, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. on July 15, on issuing bad checks and criminal liability for conduct of another charges.

Portsmouth Police Dispatch reported that Amherst NH PD was “out on a stop with her” and she turned herself in to police at headquarters. Portsmouth Police would meet them for prisoner exchange at the 7-Eleven in Raymond.
