Anchorage Inn Robbed, Portsmouth Police Seek Assistance
Police investigators are asking for help finding a woman reportedly involved in a hotel robbery incident yesterday.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - Portsmouth Police investigators are asking for the public’s help with a robbery case that occurred on Sunday morning, according to an alert.
At just before 8:30 a.m. on March 13, 2016, officers were sent to the Anchorage Inn, a hotel on Woodbury Avenue, for a report of a robbery.
A female suspect entered the hotel and handed the front desk clerk a note demanding money, according to the alert. The clerk reportedly handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the woman exited the hotel. The suspect then got into a dark blue Jeep Wrangler two-door with a black hardtop and alloy wheels, according to the alert.

The suspect is a white woman, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, with a thin build. She was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, blue jeans, and dark sneakers with white soles and white laces. She did not flash a weapon, according to police.
