Arrest Log: Florida Man Picked Up While Driving a Wrecker
Plus, a Portsmouth man is arrested on a conduct after an accident charge while another is arrested on a warrant.

Trapper Hales, 40, of Maplewood Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested on June 28, 2015, for conduct after an accident. At around 11:32 a.m., police were sent to the home for a warrant service attempt. Hales was arrested, processed, and later released.

Christopher R. Bothwell, 40, of Hawthorne Drive in Inglis, FL, was arrested on June 28, on a judge’s order to arrest. Bothwell was arrested while driving a Superior Towing Wrecker at Heritage Avenue near Banfield Road at 3:04 p.m. He was taken into custody and transported to the Rockingham County Rail.

Dale A. Hodgkins, 22, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested on June 28, on a warrant. Police investigated an assault incident at Crossroads near the Big Apple at around 10:21 p.m., allegedly by a man with blonde hair and a goatee. The victim reported that the man was in the woods by a campsite. Officers were sent to the area while the victim was transported by EMTs to the ER. An officer found the alleged assaulter, Hodgkins, and reportedly confirmed an active warrant with state police. He was taken into custody and transported to the Rockingham County Jail.
