Artesian Cuisine, Charcuterie, Small plates, and Handmade Pastas

LoMo’s, the Seacoast’s most anticipated new restaurant scheduled to open early October, featuring a menu of sustainable local cuisine skillfully crafted by a Master Chef and a technically trained Chef de Cuisine.

Many people associate delicious, healthy, and perfectly balanced cuisine with ‘fine dining.’ But instead imagine for just a moment, if you were to combine a Certified Master Chef who is well-known for his inspired mastery of American regional cuisine as well as a Chef de Cuisine who is an expert in the art of fine dining and classic French preparations, with a restaurant that is focused on locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. This combination would result in a menu that intrigues even the most refined of taste buds and this is exactly what Lomo’s owners Matt Audette and Dan Dumont, have done.

The New York Times writer, Ethan Gilsdorf has said, “Portsmouth is blessed with an absurd selection of restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors to ponder”. The Port City is already known as being the premier foodie destination north of Boston, LoMo’s menu will elevate the already high expectations of the regions diners. Chef Dumont says of the restaurant’s menu, "We're not trying to be fine dining, this will be real, wholesome, American food". The farm fresh menu will feature appetizers such as crispy Breezy Hill Farm pork belly and sugar pumpkin veloute. The warm and inviting décor was created entirely by local craftsmen and the bar will be adorned with local microbrews, wine and a creative cocktail menu.

LoMo is open for dinner six days a week and soon will serve Sunday brunch from 10am to 2pm. They are located at 86 Pleasant Street Portsmouth, NH. More information can be found by visiting www.lomoportsmouth.com or by calling 603-427-1010.
