$15K donated to org in an effort to help clients meet basic needs.

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation recently awarded $15,000, according to a press statement, to be used toward salaries of staff at Families First Health and Support Center who help clients get their basic needs met.
The grant will be allocated toward the salaries of Families First staff who help financially distressed, low-to-moderate income individuals and families move towards financial stability by screening them for eligibility for benefits programs, including prescription assistance; helping them enroll; referring them to other health and social services providers; and following up to ensure any barriers to receiving services are removed.
This is the ninth grant Bank of America has awarded to Families First in as many years.
