Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Our Mission.”, captures the purpose that drives everything we do. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

Todd Elliott, 22, of Somersworth, was sentenced in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire on one count of bank robbery, according Acting United States Attorney Donald Feith. <a href="https://patch.com/new-hampshire/portsmouth-nh/man-pleads-guilty-bank-robbery">Elliot pled guilty to the crime in July and the court imposed a term of 33 months imprisonment</a>, three years of supervised release and full restitution to the victim bank, according to a press statement. Elliott walked into a Citizens Bank in Somersworth, on Nov. 10, 2014, and gave the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave Elliott a quantity of United States Currency as well as a dye pack resembling a stack of bills. As Elliott ran from the bank, the dye pack exploded which led to his apprehension shortly thereafter. This case was investigated by the Somersworth Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Georgiana L. Konesky
