Bob Schneider to Perform in Portsmouth Aug. 22

With a recording career that has spanned some 20 albums and over 400 songs, he’s now touring behind his latest effort, The King Kong Suite a three EP series – an elegant and soaring collection of songs about love and loss. Performing for nearly 10 years, at the legendary Austin venue, Saxon Pub, he has perfected his repertoire that covers a spectrum of musical styles (mambo, rap, blues, country, Latin, swing, soul, even bluegrass), all done with the aplomb of a virtuoso of any one of those musical genres.
