Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

In Thailand, the word "Bodhi" means enlightenment and one can only surmise that the menu of the new Bodhi Thai Bistro coming to downtown Portsmouth will tantalize the palate. According to a notice posted by the city Building Inspector's office on the front door of 40 Pleasant Street, a building permit was granted to applicant Khone Sanasy to create the Bodhi Thai Bistro. It will occupy the former Pleasant Street space used by the Sakura Bana Japanese restaurant that closed nearly a year ago. Prudential Verani Realty of Portsmouth marketed the space for several months. On Monday afternoon, the interior space was already being renovated for the new Asian restaurant, but no one was on the premises.  According to the city building permit, the space is licensed to serve up to 62 patrons and the Pleasant Street block is owned by Lawrence P. McManus and Mary Elizabeth Herbert.
