Books Come to Life at Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast
Children and Parents can make Reading a Social Experience with Special In-Mall Activities
On Saturday, March 7, the Simon Kidgits Club at The Mall at Fox Run is hosting its third annual Book Blast event from 11AM – 1PM and inviting parents and children to bring books to life through special read-aloud sessions, giveaways and story-inspired activities.
Simon is also teaming up with Better World Books to provide each child who attends the event a pre-loved book and bookmark to take home, while supplies last.
Simon Kidgits Club’s Book Blast will provide families the chance to make reading a fun, social experience with various kid-focused offerings. Book Blast event activities will include stories and interactive activities that bring some of children’s favorite stories to life, such as read-aloud sessions with Mayor of Portsmouth Robert Lister, volunteers from The United Way of the Greater Seacoast, and more! Children are also invited to bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to Rockingham Action Community Plan, helping families give back to their own communities.
