Breathe New Hampshire Provides Lung Health Support Group

Breathe New Hampshire is offering a monthly support group for those living with COPD, lung cancer or pulmonary fibrosis.

From Breathe NH: Breathe New Hampshire, the only nonprofit public health agency in the state dedicated solely to lung health, is offering a monthly support group for those living with COPD, lung cancer or pulmonary fibrosis, in conjunction with Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s Rehab and Wellness Center.

This is an opportunity for those with several types of lung disease to break out of their isolation, get support and information on how to cope from professionals and their peers, and not feel stigmatized.

The Lung Health Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month, from 1-1:45 p.m. For more information, call Breathe New Hampshire at 603-669-2411; or call Erica Dulac, OTR/L or Mary Beth Savage, PT at Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s Rehab and Wellness Center at 603-433-4015. The first meeting is January 2, 2018 at the Rehab and Wellness Center, 155 Borthwick Ave., third floor West Building, room 351.
