On Saturday May 17th, SEH Studios Art Gallery presents Archer Glass, the artistic venture led by self-taught stained-glass and mosaic artist, Jennifer Crete. This special event invites the community to experience the mesmerizing craft of stained-glass through live demonstrations, an insightful artist talk, and a stunning offering of Crete’s handcrafted works.
Since 2007, Crete has been refining her glasswork, first exploring mosaics before mastering the Tiffany Technique of stained-glass in 2020. Her passion for transforming raw materials into intricate, handcrafted designs has fueled her vision for Archer Glass, blending traditional techniques with contemporary artistry.
Attendees can watch Jennifer Crete work and then hear her speak:
- 1:00 -3:30 pm – Live Stained-Glass Demonstration: Watch as Crete shares her artistic process, demonstrating some of the techniques involved in creating intricate stained-glass pieces.
- 4:00 pm – Artist Talk: Gain deeper insight into Crete’s journey, inspirations, and the craft of stained-glass as she shares her experiences and artistic vision.
