Portsmouth, NH — Stand-up comedian Jim McCue will celebrate the release of his new book, Sketchy Facts, with a special one-night performance and book signing on Friday, May 23 at McCue's Comedy Club.

Known as the “King of Clean Crowd Work,” McCue delivers a fast-paced, high-energy show that blends polished material with razor-sharp improvisation. Fresh off the success of his Dry Bar Comedy specials—one of which has surpassed 6 million views—McCue brings a style of comedy that is both smart and accessible, keeping audiences laughing from start to finish.

The May 23 event is more than a stand-up show—it’s a full comedy experience. Audiences can expect a hilarious night of live comedy featuring a standout lineup, followed by a book signing for McCue’s new release, Sketchy Facts.

The book offers a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road as a working comedian, sharing the kinds of stories that usually stay backstage.

Hosting the evening is Sara Poulin, a Maine-based comedian and radio personality from WIGY’s The Breakfast Club. Known for her sharp, relatable takes on relationships, dating, and therapy, Poulin brings a fresh and engaging voice to the stage.
