Christmas Tree Collection Starts Monday

Wondering how to dispose of your Christmas tree?

“Curbside Christmas tree collection will begin Monday, Jan. 6. through Friday, Jan. 16. Residents are asked to remove all tinsel and to not have the tree wrapped in a plastic bag,” Portsmouth Public Works General Foreman Todd Croteau tells Portsmouth Patch.

“Residents are also welcome to drop off their trees at the Recycling Center at 680 Peverly Hill Road. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday (from) 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Saturdays (from) 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.”
