Citizens Bank Supports Health Care for the Homeless
The bank recently contributed $10,000 to the Families First Health and Support Center.

As part of its Citizens Helping Citizens initiative, Citizens Bank recently contributed $10,000 to the mobile Health Care for the Homeless program at Families First Health and Support Center. Citizens Bank has been a supporter of Families First programming since 2003.
The Health Care for the Homeless program provides primary care, dental care, substance abuse counseling, social work services and access to mental health counseling to over 700 homeless people each year at shelters, soup kitchens, parking lots and other convenient sites. It addresses Citizens Bank’s interests in funding community-based services that are targeted to low - and moderate-income families and individuals and innovative responses to basic human needs. “Citizens Bank invests in programs that help enhance our communities and is pleased to partner with the Health Care for the Homeless program to bring health services to those in need,” said Joe Carelli, president, Citizens Bank, New Hampshire and Vermont. “This program aligns with our goal of providing shelter, part of our Citizens Helping Citizens initiative.”
Families First Health and Support Center provides affordable primary, prenatal and oral health care; parenting and family programs; one-on-one family support; and mobile health care for people who are homeless.
