CLOWARD, PIVEN AND OBAMA

During his two years at Occidental College Barack Obama, by his own admission, gravitated to and was fascinated by Marxist professors.  During his time there he attended conferences presented by the Democratic Socialists of America where Marxist/Socialist ideology was discussed and advocated.  One of the key speakers at these conferences was Frances Fox Piven, a Columbia University Sociologist and activist who, along with her now late husband Richard Cloward, devised what is known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to eliminate poverty by bringing about the collapse of capitalism.  By expanding welfare and entitlement programs to the point where they place impossible financial burdens on state and local governments coupled with excessive spending by the federal government, Cloward-Piven hoped to create an economic crisis, social upheaval and ultimately the collapse of capitalism and the institution of a socialist form of government complete with a guaranteed minimum wage and a near classless society with a permanent majority relying on the federal government for survival.  It is the ultimate redistribution of wealth scenario.  Cloward and Piven envisioned this strategy being most effectively implemented through the Democratic Party. 

Piven is now a professor of political science and sociology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, serves as honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America and openly supported the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Is Obama a floundering, incompetent community organizer or is he skillfully and brilliantly implementing the Cloward-Piven Strategy by overwhelming the economy to bring about the collapse of capitalism in the U.S.?  I’ll let you decide.  But keep in mind that in 2008 Obama promised to “fundamentally transform America” and has continually maintained that spreading the wealth around would be good for everyone.

Having spent countless hours researching Obama’s background, associations, activities, policies and speeches, I personally believe Barack Obama represents the greatest danger this country has ever faced.
