Coming Up: Reggae at Red Hook Music Festival and Moonface!

Summer isn’t over yet, and there are a few things you should keep on your radar that are coming up soon.

Reggae @ Redhook Music Festival

If you like reggae music, good beer, and being outdoors, well, there’s something you should know about. This upcoming Sunday, August 23 is the Reggae @ Redhook Music Festival! Put on by and at the Redhook Brewery, is an awesome music festival to end the summer with a bang… and beer. The Redhook Brewery, located at 1 Redhook Way, Portsmouth, NH, is an awesome venue for a music festival. It’s has a huge outdoor area, with great food and beer straight from the source. What more could you ask for?

The best part: they went all out this time, with an awesome reggae line-up and Gyptian as the main act! If you don’t know, Gyptian is the man behind reggae hits “Hold You” and “Wine Slow”. Also performing there: Bruk Shut, M.O., Conman, Cause & Effect. Tickets are available here for $30.00 before or $35.00 at the door.

Moonface at 3S ARTSPACE

We have one more event you might want to mark down. Next weekend, on Saturday, August 29, Moonface will be playing at 3S Artspace. Who is Moonface? Moonface is Spencer Krug’s solo act, and Spencer Krug is the man behind indie rock bands Sunset Rubdown and Wolf Parade. That’s pretty awesome. Don’t miss the chance to see an indie rock legend in such an intimate venue. Here’s his track “City Wrecker”. Tickets are only $12.00 and are available here.
