Community Needs Input Sought About YMCA Facility

Online survey from YMCA of the Seacoast runs through end of the month.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - If you live in the Greater Seacoast area, the YMCA of the Seacoast wants to hear from you.

As part of this first planning phase, the YMCA is working with its national office - the YMCA of the USA - to conduct a community needs assessment and would like public input.

Through April 30, 2016, the YMCA is hosting an Online Community Needs Assessment Survey: surveys.ymcaexchange.org/f/178333/1262/ to seek input from community members.

Survey findings will be used to plan the YMCA’s expansion design in order to deliver new programs and services, in partnership with other local agencies, to address local critical issues in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

“We’re encouraging members of the community to take the online survey and provide feedback so we can better plan to meet the growing needs of our community,” said Bobbi Williams, Branch Director, YMCA of the Seacoast.

Williams said that the responses will not be individually tracked and will be kept confidential. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete.

“While the survey takes just a few minutes to complete, the data collected will play a major role in helping develop a plan for our Y which meets the greatest need in our community,” said Ms. Williams.
