Dermatology and Skin Health Team Set to Welcome Dr. Alissa Tomaiolo Lamoureux

Alissa Tomaiolo Lamoureux, DO, Set to Join Dermatology and Skin Health Team

Dermatology and Skin Health is pleased to announce the addition of Alissa T. Lamoureux, DO, who will begin practice at the facility on April 1st. Her addition will further bolster the growth of the practice, strengthening and adding to the collective service set provided to the organization’s existing patients, as well as opening the door to new people in need of dermatological care.

Board certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Lamoureux is passionate about treating patients that present with skin disorders. She comes to Dermatology and Skin Health from the sunny state of Florida where she was in residency at the Wellington Regional Medical Center and Broward Health Medical Center, respectively. There she earned multiple honors including “Most Valuable Resident,” and “Chief Resident” as well as serving as a volunteer in the community. A native New Englander, Dr. Lamoureux attended Brown University in Providence, RI where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then achieved her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.

“We are so excited for the expansion of our physical facility, as well as the addition of Dr. Lamoureux to our family,” said practice manager Laurie Seavey. “Alissa is a dedicated, well-respected physician that will strengthen our team and enable us to offer expanded services – which will include pediatric and general dermatology. Having her on-board will also allow us to increase the number of patients we can see each day, thereby increasing our capacity and reducing wait times.”

Dr. Lamoureux is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

Upon starting her new position, Dr. Lamoureux plans to incorporate a balance of dermatologic disciplines into her practice, which will include general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
