Dover Man Charged with Simple Assault
The following arrest information was supplied by the Portsmouth Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 26.
Friday:
- At 2:14 a.m., police arrested a Derry man following a motor vehicle stop on Market Street. Robert Eugene Provost Jr., 20, of 6 Derry Way, Apt. 34, in Derry was charged with driving after revocation or suspension.
- At 7:39 a.m., police arrested a Dover man on Interstate-95 southbound following a domestic incident. Richard A. Anderson, 32, of 23 E. Concord St., Apt. 6, in Dover was charged with simple assault.
- At 8:30 a.m., police arrested a 15-year-old juvenile for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs on Sherburne Road.
- At 10:15 a.m., police reported the theft of a bicycle on Manor Drive.
- At 10:16 a.m., police arrested a Springfield, Mass., woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the Police Station. Cathy Luong, 44, of 293 Longhill St. in Springfield, Mass., was wanted for unsworn falsification.

- Police reported a fight involving eight people on Daniel Street where a plate glass window was smashed. Four barment letters were issued to four of the people involved in the incident.
- At 4:52 p.m., police reported a theft of a bird bath valued at $150 from a State Street residence.
- At 10:15 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a domestic incident on Blue Heron Drive. Matthew V. Famulari, 29, of 151 Blue Heron Drive, Apt. 4, in Portsmouth was charged with criminal mischief (vandalism).
Sunday:
- Police reported a theft at 4:09 a.m. at an Islington Street store after a male suspect did a grab and go of a sandwich.
