Dover Woman Charged with Stalking

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Sept. 16 through Monday, Sept. 17.

Sunday:

  • At 9:50 a.m., police reported criminal mischief after some grafitti was found in the area of Woodbury Avenue and Interstate-95.
  • At 11:24 a.m., police reported the theft of a bicycle on Osprey Drive.
  • At 1:59 p.m., police reported a burglary at Beechstone Apartments.
  • At 2:10 p.m., police reported the theft of a white Giant Rapid III bike valued at $700 on Richards Avenue.
  • At 10:24 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a domestic incident on Robert Avenue. Mesfen A. Rowell, 24, of 63 Robert Ave., Apt. 2., in Portsmouth was charged with two counts of simple assault and default or breach of bail conditions.

  • At 8:28 a.m., police arrested a Rye woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Tamarra Dedovic, 21, of 1215B Ocean Road in Rye was wanted for conduct after an accident.
  • At 2:15 p.m., police arrested a Dover woman for stalking on Brewery Lane. Catherine Pecherkiewicz, 31, of 17 Melody Terrace in Dover was charged with stalking and violation of a protective order.
  • At 8:32 p.m., police reported shoplifting on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said a suspect was caught on videotape taking a black hampster, some bedding and food valued at $50.
